Expérience incroyable qui sort de l'ordinaire. Les personnes sont incroyablement gentil et au petit soin. Manger ainsi avec des inconnus était une expérience nouvelle que je recommande. C'est évidemment chance dépendant des personnes avec qui on partage l'expérience mais c'était, pour notre part, un moment qu'on n'oubliera pas. L'accord vin est parfait et la nourriture est excellente et en large excès pour les gros mangeurs

Sifis and his father have curated a magical experience at their shared table! We dined with another large group while on our honeymoon and instantly made friends with everyone at the table… it truly felt like we had been traveling with each other the whole time! 4 hours passed by before we knew it! The food and wine pairings were outstanding as well! It’s hard to pick one dish out of the 8 courses because each is unique to Crete’s traditions and full of flavor. Portions were very generous and no one left hungry or thirsty! We’d love to dine here again should we be back to Crete. My only advice is to consider arriving before the 8:30 reservation time to enjoy the view. This was not noted in the reservation, but Sifis let us know it’s very common to arrive early to enjoy the view as dinner starts at 8:30. Also the restaurant is hard to find, so if you find yourself in a parking lot for a winery you’re in the right place, just proceed to the back of it through the gate where Sifis will welcome you. Overall this was a fantastic experience and one we will be recommending to all our friends traveling to Crete!

This is definitely an experience to have. A lovely place, with views to die for. Lots of good food and interesting wines to enjoy in a very different, personal setting. A definite destination place, we were super happy we found this one and went. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing experience! It feels like being part of a Cretan family, gathering among friends. It is not just a wine tasting- it's a warm, authentic journey into Greek hospitality and Cretan flavours.

Absolutely incredible meal with delicious wine pairing. The family that runs the place provide an amazing service and offer tons of great information about Cretan and Greek wines. The food portions are generous and everything tasted exceptionally good, especially the lamb main course. Even though we sat inside and didn’t have the sunset view, the experience was some. Can’t recommend this place enough!

My wife and I had an amazing time here in July. Sifis is a great host, young guy, very friendly and welcoming. We had amazing Cretan food and we tried so many different Greek wines! Think about arranging for taxi or transportation as you’ll be done around 11:30pm and you will be very happy after drinking all that wine.

Most breathing views you’ll ever see. Amazing delicious food and tradition Greek lady cooking proper food, best food we have had in Greece! Staff was super friendly and attentive. 10/10 recommended will go back. Our favourite place we have been. Unreal!

We absolutely loved the Secret Gorge! The staff was very accommodating even though we were late due to traffic. The courses & wine were delicious, and we were served generous amounts. I would highly recommend!

We discovered this restaurant through TikTok as a hidden gem, and we couldn’t wait to experience it. It turned out to be so much better than we expected, truly a unique and unforgettable evening. The location is absolutely perfect, set above a beautiful gorge with the sunset creating a magical backdrop. We enjoyed authentic Cretan traditional dishes paired with carefully selected wines, each explained in detail by Sifis, the wonderful host and owner. His hospitality and passion made the whole experience feel personal and special. What made it even more memorable was the chance to meet amazing people from all over the world, sharing stories about food, travel, and culture around one table. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rethymno or Crete, it’s not just dinner, it’s an evening that elevates your entire journey. Thank you very much for everything, Sifis – we will never forget it!

Location, food, wine and service were all fantastic. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough - easily the highlight of our trip and one of the best meals we've had anywhere.

Ο χώρος είναι ένα υπέροχο μπαλκόνι με ένα μόνο τραπέζι για έως 14 άτομα, ακριβώς πάνω από μια εντυπωσιακή χαράδρα που κόβει την ανάσα. Αρχικά πήγαμε με ανάμικτα συναισθήματα, καθώς συχνά τέτοιου είδους εμπειρίες απευθύνονται κυρίως σε τουρίστες. Όμως η πραγματικότητα μας διέψευσε ευχάριστα: πρόκειται για μια εμπειρία που αξίζει στο έπακρο. Η αίσθηση να κάθεσαι σε αυτό το μοναδικό σημείο, απολαμβάνοντας την απίθανη θέα και τις εκλεπτυσμένες γεύσεις, είναι ανεκτίμητη. Αν μάλιστα βρεθείτε εκεί με μια παρέα 12-14 ατόμων, η εμπειρία απογειώνεται. Ναι, έχει το κόστος της, αλλά κάθε στιγμή δικαιολογεί την αξία του. Και σαν κερασάκι στην τούρτα, στο τέλος οι οικοδεσπότες μάς χάρισαν ακόμη και μαθήματα κρητικού χορού! Το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα σε όσους θέλουν να ζήσουν κάτι ξεχωριστό.. The most magical dining experience on Crete! I wish there was an option to give 10 stars because Joseph and his family run business truly deserve it. From the moment we were warmly welcomed, walking into the spectacular venue perched on the edge of a stunning gorge, to our very last minute of tasting delicious authentic food paired with local wines, Joseph and his family provided us an unforgettable evening!!! 8 local Cretan courses of very generous serving sizes, 8 delicate native wines, 10 other wonderful travellers and a magnificent setting of Crete’s finest nature all made for a once in a lifetime dining experience. We laughed all night sharing stories and our hearts with other travellers, all pinching ourselves of how surreal our night was. The attention to detail was impeccable, Joseph and his brother were both so attentive and professional, yet at the same time we felt like we were amongst family. Gluten free and vegetarian options were extremely well catered for. They even helped us organise a taxi back to our hotel afterwards. It’s an absolute must do in Crete. 10/10 Joseph 👏👏👏 A heart felt thank you from the bottom of our heart. We’ll never forget your Secret George restaurant experience!

This was my special surprise to my wife, and it was amazing! Not only is the food top notch and more than you can finish, but the wine, raki, service, and the view was perfect!! We sat at the table with people from around the world and had the best conversations. I highly recommend this place!

Food was amazing! My husband and I had so much fun here, made new friends, and our drinks were never empty. I highly recommend going for the most amazing but different kind of experience. Off the beaten path! There is only one table that seats 12. Unless you can make a reservation for exactly 12, you won’t have a private dining. We loved this part! Shared how excited I was with my family about this place. My mom and aunt made their own reservation for the following week and loved every moment!
